Academically,
Marlene received her B.A. in Psychology in 1975 and her M.A. in
Counseling in 1989. She taught elementary through high school,
presented to graduate school classes, instructed in dance classes,
wrote 2 unpublished books, and today enjoys being a paralegal at Beal
Business Law.
After
9/11, on New Year’s Day to be exact, Bruce announced, "I’ve been
thinking about how I can best give to my family, my community and my
country, and that is to open my own business law firm here in south
Orange County. I could then provide to small and emerging
businesses here what I previously provided as senior counsel to a
billion-dollar, international firm. Would you be my paralegal?" Marlene immediately answered,
"Yes."
Legally,
Marlene has assisted Attorney Beal in many areas of his law practice
and has developed a good working knowledge of registering trademarks
and copyrights, transactional due diligence, and organization of
various business entities.
Marlene
wears all hats other than Lawyer in the firm, and those include
paralegal, marketing, accounting, and office management and
assistance.
