you have quick and inexpensive advice from someone who already knows

For example, if your business or
professional practice has 30
employees, the fee for the Plan is a minimum $1,800 per month for 10 hours
of expert business legal assistance. For businesses and professional
practices with fewer
employees, pro-rated lower minimum monthly retainer and hours are
available. To put that in perspective, the average in-house General
Counsel costs $30,000-$40,000 per month, all in.
This General Counsel RetainerSM
allows you an agreed minimum amount of hours each month to respond to your
immediate legal concerns by telephone, email, or meetings, including at
your firm.
You have personalized attention to
your particular business legal needs at a significant discount to the normal hourly rates. You receive legal assistance much like large
corporations do with their in-house general counsels and corporate
counsels.
For no additional
charge, we may be your registered agent for legal
process.

Plan,
we proactively manage your legal affairs for those matters brought
to our attention. The
Plan focuses on preventing legal problems, especially litigation, while
facilitating your business
or professional
objectives. A
good business lawyer knows how to advise about, and prepare for, risks
without unduly frustrating your firm's business goals.
You will have access to legal
advice on a discounted fee basis on issues such as:

formation strategies for startups, emerging businesses and
professional practices, and
businesses and professional practices in transition
- firm
formation strategies for startups, emerging professional practices,
and professional practices in transition
- risks
and benefits of any business decision
- advice
regarding general corporate and commercial legal matters
- advice

negotiations, drafting, review, interpretation, claims and
resolutions

procurement, proposals, and contracting assistance

While the General Counsel RetainerSM
Plan excludes litigation and other nonroutine matters, it includes
management of such matters on your firm's behalf, similar to a general
